A boudoir session in an abandoned house
black lace, non traditional boudoir
Project for creativity
In 2022 I shared a model call for boudoir project, to broaden my portfolio and feed my creativity. Lynn was one of the first ones who answered and I was immediately inspired by everything they wrote! They suggested a session in an abandoned house, told me that nudity wouldn't be a problem, and told me about their own creative background.
I started looking for a safe, old, empty house, and luckily our friends’ neighbor in Pöytyä had just moved to a nursing home and they got keys to his home, which was an old village school! We scheduled the day, got a ride and had so much fun!
Doing projects every now and then is so important for my creativity – to be able to try out things without the pressure of them working out perfectly is key to growing as a photographer. There are important principles that got confirmed once again in this session: Every boudoir session is collaboration between myself and the one(s) being photographed. Boudoir has no gender. We can move, play around and try things without the stress of looking stupid.
