We also met at Love Me Do wedding fair! As queer business owners we’re always spotting queer couples and I saw them from afar. During the wedding day they told me I seemed just as enthusiastic as I felt, even if I thought I had kept my cool. Anyways, our vibes matched and they messaged me as soon as they had booked the venue.
It was a hot July day, 32 degrees celsius and sun shining from a clear sky. One of our cameras overheated (that’s why a professional has lots of gear) during videotaping the speeches. But we had so much fun! I could feel than the couple trusted us, and that’s the best feeling in the world.
This wedding had a lot of traditional elements, but everything felt natural for the couple, and that’s what makes a great wedding! We spent the whole day with the couple, from getting ready to late night party, and that feeling of connection is always when I remember how much I actually love my job.
